Shannon is a renowned educator in the US and abroad. She teaches acting, playwriting, voice, speech, directing, devised-performance, auditioning, Shakespeare, and TCSA (theatre for cultural and social awareness). She uses a growth mindset, student-centered approach that explores questions of identity and how it affects individual performance.
Shannon currently resides in the Bay Area and teaches for Berkeley Repertory Theatre, StageWrite, Education Unlimited at Stanford, and YES Theater. She has taught previously at the International School of Asia Karuizawa, Bay Area Children's Theatre, Beyond Acting Theatre School, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
